Heading out!

We're leaving for Ireland today! Our new Irish friends at Ceol, the Irish pub just around the corner from Paul's apartment, suggested that we get to the airport as early as possible so we can pay $25 to get into Aer Lingus's Golden Circle for all the food and drink we want. We're arriving in Ireland at 6AM Tuesday and will go straight to our first farm, so don't worry parents, we won't have too much of the all-you-can-drink part.
We've been in Brooklyn for the past 4 days, staying at Paul's apartment, hanging our with Herb (our dino! - see below), going to the Met and MOMA, running in Central Park, being in awe at the New York City High Line Park and eating lots of pizza.
Herb's last breakfast (also ours) in Atlanta with Molly's Mom and Dad.  Herb will be traveling with us throughout the trip and as we become too dirty to photograph, you'll see him more and more. Thanks Elyse for our glittery dino!
Before arriving in New York, we drove up to Baltimore and spent a few days there with Zach's Grandma and family. We stopped along the way at a Cracker Barrel where Herb had a photo-op with a silver bald eagle and we got a book on tape, the scariest novel ever written by John Grisham about young lawyers. PAUL DON'T TAKE BRIBES PLEASE.
Herb, so patriotic. All the women at the Cracker Barrel loved him.
Herb also got a chance to meet Francis Scott Key, his personal hero, at Fort McHenry. And we all got a chance to see the Statue of Liberty, and visit Ellis Island.

The real America. Before the Big Bang.

Francis Scott Key! Herb!

Lady Liberty and Herb! And the construction that is going on EVERYWHERE.

The roof of the Registry Room at Ellis Island.

Anna and Herb and the greatest Indian restaurant ever! Except the make you sit in a closet before you get your table.
We can't wait to get to Ireland! And can't wait to send y'all postcards and see you in the Fall! Also, we promise there will be more pictures of us next time.
